Support for Multiple Deposit Types Collected across Leasing Stages

DashQ customers can now collect and manage deposits across different stages of the leasing process. This lets teams collect the right deposits at the right point in the renter’s journey, and avoid forcing everything into a single step.

DashQ supports:

• Deposits collected at different stages of the leasing process, including during the application and at lease signing

• Multiple deposit types, such as rent, pet, and parking

• Stacked deposits collected across stages

For example, teams can collect a last month’s rent deposit during the application process and a first month’s rent deposit at lease signing.

This helps teams secure commitment earlier, gives renters clearer expectations around deposits, and avoids collecting payments across systems or manually reconciling deposits later.

DashQ also supports region-specific deposit rules, including provinces where certain deposit types—such as pet deposits—are regulated separately from rent deposits (for example, British Columbia).
